Join us for Horseback Riding plus a refreshing dip in a gorgeous cave! After pick up from your hotel, you'll be transported to the southern extremes of the Dominican Republic's east coast in Cap Cana. This double activity excursion gives you an up close interaction and education about the horses, along with the opportunity to swim in a brisk lagoon, taking a nice break from the warm weather.

We'll visit our rural horse stables and learn a bit about our beautiful herd. Saddle up and get instructions on how to properly mount, adjust the reins and tips for controlling your horse. Enjoy a pleasant 1 hour ride on a secluded dirt path through Cap Cana's quiet dry forest. This tranquil ride is a nice change from the resort crowds - a tiny vacation within a vacation. Back at the jump off point, enjoy a buffet style lunch before we hike to Las Hondas Cave.

Now, time for an invigorating plunge in the Las Ondas! A short nature walk leads you to the mouth of the cave. Along the way we'll learn about local flaura and fauna as well as the rich history of the Taino indians that once inhabited the area. The Tainos even used Las Hondas Cave for ceremonies over half a millennia ago. When you reach the cave, we descend down a dimly lit winding staircase, allowing your eyes to adjust to the darkness. As you reach the bottom, the blue hue of Las Honda's peaceful, calm waters is quite the site to see. Swim around and cool off in this underground sanctuary. From here we head back to the start point and then to your hotel.
